SCCS's regional entertainment provides that "sense of place" with its program of original, historical theatre; old-time string music; and home-grown art. Our plays are written by local people, produced by folks like you, and performed by ordinary men, women, and children.

Today's programs become our legacy for future generations.

The region encompassing South Cumberland Plateau, Highland Rim, and Tennessee River Valley shapes the lives of people in eastern Tennessee, northeast Alabama, and northwest Georgia. SCCS seeks to preserve the history, literature, and music of this area, make our citizens proud of their Southern heritage, and encourage their creativity.
